VBS & KAMP Adult and Youth Volunteers Needed July 15-19: There are still a few openings for Vacation Bible School and KAMP volunteers. Specifically for VBS, we need a Snack Leader, a Recreation Leader, group shepherds,  and teen classroom assistants. For KAMP we need adult chaperons to join us each day as we go out to serve in the community. Please contact Carrie Schwab if you are interested in helping at cschwab@stmatthewsumc.org

THE TEDDY BEARS’ PICNIC, MAY 18, 10:00-11:30 AM: Children, ages 0-5, and their parents are invited to bring a favorite stuffed animal to enjoy story time, songs, and make believe together!  Animals will visit various “shops” in our Teddy Bear Town, like the salon and the doctor… and every animal will win a special award for attending!  Bring a picnic snack/lunch and a blanket to the Social Hall.  Dessert will be provided.  Invite your neighbors and your friends!  Questions should be directed to Emily Yosmanovich at eyosmanovich@stmatthewsumc.org.

Old Maps Needed for Vacation Bible School: We are in need of maps for one of our VBS crafts this summer. Any kind of map (local, national, world, etc.) is fine. If you can give, please leave your map in the VBS donation bin located in the church library. Thanks for your help!

Oh, Jonah!  A Children’s Musical, will be presented by our Wesley and Altar choirs TOMORROW at 8:15 or 11:15 AM!  Join us as our children help lead us in this musical worship event!  (We will have a service of Scripture and song at the 9:45 Modern Worship service.)

VBS & KAMP VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:  Vacation Bible School and KAMP are two of our largest outreach programs to children in the community each summer reaching nearly 200 children.  This summer’s VBS & KAMP will take place on July 15-19 from 9 a.m. to noon (registration information will come at a later date).  To make this program a success we need tons of volunteers before, during, and after the program.  If you are interested in getting involved please contact Carrie Schwab.

Car Wash to Benefit UMFS on Sunday, April 14th - Club 56 will be hosting a car wash during morning worship.  Our participating 5th and 6th graders (and adult assistants) will be washing cars from 8:15 – 11:45 AM to raise money to support United Methodist Family Services.  Our support will help raise awareness of the needs of children in foster care and how the community can get involved. To participate simply leave your keys with one of our adult assistants before worship and when you leave, your clean car will be waiting for you.

Sunday, March 31st:  Easter Morning Pancake Breakfast in the Social Hall.  Drop in between 7:30 - 11:00 AM.

Bring Your Own Wheels Event for Toddlers- March 16:  We’d like to invite children, ages 18 months to 4 years old, to bring a ride-on or push toy to the Social Hall on Saturday, March 16 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM (noon).  This is a fun opportunity to let our toddlers burn some energy and let parents in our community get to know each other.  Light refreshments will be served.  Please contact Emily Yosmanovich at eyosmanovich@stmatthewsumc.org for more information.
