Bakers needed!  The UMW Annual Craft Fair is coming!  Every year our baked goods table is a hit, so we hope that you will help us continue the tradition by again contributing your homemade baked goods.   They can be dropped off at church by 10:30 AM on Friday, November 16th or by 9:30 AM on Saturday, November 17th.   (Please note that although frozen baked goods can be wonderful, they do not hold up well for this particular purpose.)  Please contact Joyce at lj.pomeroy@gmail.com if you have any questions.   And don’t forget to bring your friends to the craft fair Thursday, November 15th (4:00 - 8:00 PM), Friday, November 16th (11:00 AM - 6:00 PM), and Saturday, November 17th (10:00 - 3:00 PM)

UMC's United Methodist Women fight back against "hate speech" with subway signs

The competing signs — which cost $6,000 — are from the United Methodist Women and went up on Tuesday.

They read: “Hate speech is not civilized. Support peace in word and deed.”“
